What happens here
Weddings
Ceremony on the lawn, dinner under the pavilion. Everyone who comes is in the same room.
Micro-weddings at Eden VaileRehearsal dinners
For couples marrying somewhere else nearby — the drive from most of them is under half an hour. Four hours on a Friday, and everyone home in good time for the big day.
Rehearsal dinners at Eden VaileReunions
Family, class, church, or those you served with. The tables go end to end, and the lawn stays open beside them.
The offsite training day
Athens, Greenville and Asheville are about two hours away and Atlanta twenty minutes more — none of them near enough for anyone to slip back to the office at lunchtime. The indoor room can be set up for presentations.

Short notice is no trouble, and weekday mornings are the easiest dates for us to fit. The calendar only opens a month out, so if your event is sooner than that, please send us a Before you book inquiry and we will arrange the date for you.
What comes with the place
Every booking includes the grounds, the open-sided pavilion, the indoor room, and the tables, chairs and white linens — set out before anyone arrives, wherever the day is happening. We set them once and clear them afterwards, and the trash goes with us. Decorating is yours: what you bring, you put up and you take down.
- Four restrooms — two on the pavilion, one on the veranda, one indoors
- Wifi throughout
- Parking on gravel for twenty cars, with more on the grass
- Eight power outlets on the pavilion, one to a post
Open the front barn doors and the indoor room looks out on the drive, the creek and the ridgeline.
What is not here
There is no kitchen. Behind the rear barn doors there is a staging area with folding tables, a sink, power and water, but nothing that refrigerates or cooks. Tell your caterer to come ready, and to bring ice.
Nothing with an open flame goes on the pavilion itself.
What we pour
The wine and the beer here are ours to pour, and there are no spirits on the property. We keep red, white and sweet wines, and beer both domestic and imported, and once your date is held we will go through the drinks list with you and put together the bar you want for your occasion.
Whenever there is a bar, we put one of our experienced bartenders behind it. One less thing for you to worry about: we and our staff are licensed, and it sits on your booking beside the other hands on the day.
We price the bar once we know what is going on it. It is the one thing here we would rather talk through than put a number on, because every occasion is different.
What a day costs
Every figure is below.
Fifty-six is what our tables seat. If you are planning for more, we are not the right venue — and we would rather say so now than after you have made the drive.

Additional hours
Your day
Your hours are the hours you book, plus an hour either side of a four-hour day and two either side of an eight. We are on duty for the whole of it, and it is the same window for your vendors. Every event ends at 10pm. If the day runs on past that window, overtime is $300 an hour.
What else you can book
Any of these can be added when you book. Each is priced on its own, on top of the figures above.
The figures on this page are before tax. Tax of 8% goes on the whole of it, the day and anything you add, and you will see it on its own line when you book.
What you bring
Your caterer, your florist, your musicians, your photographer, and anyone else you want here.
When you book, we send you the Eden Vaile Rolodex — the professionals we recommend, and the places nearby where your guests can stay.
We do not sell food or music, and we do not take a cut of anyone who does. Alcohol is the one thing we handle ourselves.
